Parent Feedback

How to give feedback to the school

We welcome and encourage feedback from our parents. If we have done something well or if you have a suggestion on an area that we could improve, please use one of the following methods:

  • Please direct emails to admin@stuttonprimary.co.uk with the subject “Feedback”.

  • Call us on 01473 328531

  • Please send your letter direct to the school or hand in to the school office in a sealed envelope, marked ‘Feedback’.

  • Please ask one of the office team for a parental feedback form to complete.

Complaints

We recognise the importance of establishing and maintaining good relationships with parents, carers and the wider community. We are aware that there may be occasions where people have concerns or complaints and the following procedure sets out the steps that should be followed in order to resolve these as quickly and informally as possible.

In the first instance, particular problems should be referred to the class teacher, who will endeavour to achieve a satisfactory outcome by informal means. If you feel the problem is not resolved, then it should be referred to the headteacher who will try to resolve it, if necessary through discussion with appropriate members of staff and the complainant.

If, however, the issue cannot be resolved informally, then a formal complaint should be made in writing to the headteacher. Following this, if you believe that the school has not properly followed it’s complaints procedure or has not acted fairly or reasonably in responding to your complaint you may refer the matter to the School’s Governing body (via letter or email to the school) or ASSET Education (contact details here) .

Our Trust complaints procedure can be found on our website, or a copy may be requested from the school office.
