Hello, my name is Louise Southgate, I am the Family Liaison Officer at Stutton Church of England Primary School.

I am here to offer a friendly, supportive listening ear to talk through any concerns or worries you may have regarding any difficulties or worries that are affecting your child or family life.

My aim, in conjunction with our dedicated staff, is to ensure that our school families feel supported as we understand that children’s needs are varied and that life can throw many challenges at us which can affect your child’s ability to learn. I look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure your child enjoys all aspects of school life and is happy, thriving and fulfilling their potential during their time at our school.

Suffolk Children & Young People’s emotional well-being hub

Information, advice and support for anyone concerned about the emotional well-being and mental health of a child or person 0 – 25 years. Written guidance is available of how to support your child with a range of issues such as eating disorders, depression, anxiety, stress, self-harming. Please click here more more information.

Children’s Centre

Local Children’s Centres are able to provide support to families with children from 0-5 years old. Services are free and they are often open 9 – 5 pm.

School Nursing Team

There’s a new number to text our school nurse. ChatHealth, the school nurse messaging service, is confidential and available Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm. You can message for advice on all kinds of health issues, like toileting, emotional health and wellbeing, bullying, healthy eating and any general health concerns.
