English

We use a range of approaches to ensure a high quality English curriculum. A love of reading is important to us and we have a library which we are very proud of! Children have lots of opportunities for real purposeful writing and classes have vocabulary walls so children can magpie ideas from each other. 

Oracy is also important to us and children are confident to  share their thoughts and ideas. We have many opportunities for public speaking including readings at our half termly church services. 

Reading is an integral part of our curriculum and we are very proud of our library!
